La Ruchala Murphy received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and a master’s in arts administration from Winthrop University. She also earned a master’s in nonprofit administration from Louisiana State University. She recently completed her doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Columbia International University.An experienced nonprofit professional with proven skills in grants management, leadership capacity building, relationship-building, program development, and data management for over 20 years, La Ruchala serves others in communication, education, development, and program implementation and administration.
La Ruchala is member of the Southeastern Museums Conference, the South Carolina Federation of Museums, Association of Arts Administration Educators, the National Association of Nonprofit Organizations & Executives, and the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance to name a few.
