Angela P. Meleca is an arts advocate, strategist, and founder of Meleca Creative Advisors and the Collaborative Arts Impact Initiative (CAII). Focusing on transforming how arts organizations demonstrate their impact, Angela has introduced a pioneering tool to the sector that captures real-time data on the arts' transformational effects, allowing advocacy beyond traditional metrics. Her work empowers arts leaders to quantify their social, emotional, and well-being impacts, providing the tools to capture previously intangible qualities like empathy, creativity, and community connection—metrics crucial for today's funding landscape. This meets the growing data demands of philanthropy and empowers organizations to turn impact into investment.
Using new arts advocacy strategies, Angela led a coalition that secured $160.7 million in public funding for Ohio's non-profit arts sector from 2020 to 2023.
As an adjunct faculty member at Miami University, she brings her arts policy and advocacy expertise to the classroom, sharing innovative strategies to help the next generation of arts leaders.
