About me
Reese Leif (she/her) is a senior at the University of Michigan, pursuing a Bachelor of Theatre Arts with a concentration in Performing Arts Management, along with double minors in Digital Studies and Writing. Outside of classes, she dedicates her time to various roles, including producer, director, dramaturg, financial director, and marketing director across campus productions. Reese also serves as the Artistic Director of Basement Arts, where she collaborates with her co-presenter, Katy Dawson, to produce a six-show season of accessible theatre. One of her primary passions lies at the intersection of philanthropy and performance—she has raised over $15,000 for medical nonprofits through benefit concert production. Her academic interests focus on ethical leadership practices, gender dynamics in arts spaces, and the evolving landscape of theatrical production. As graduation approaches, Reese is eager to connect with fellow practitioners in the performing arts industry.
